Storenvy is a social network that has created a community around stores. The site nurtures independent sellers from around the world. The short registration form asks the user for a username, email address and password. A blue button at the bottom of the form invites the user to sign up through Facebook instead. After entering the information, the user can click the gold “Join Now” button to submit the form. Once the form has been submitted, the user is advised that they must check their email for an activation message which must be accessed to complete registration.
Storenvy entices users by offering a free membership for everyone. Shoppers can create an account without paying a subscription or set up fee. Store owners are also invited to create a store on the site for free. Unlike other ecommerce sites, Storenvy does not charge a set up or listing fee.
